As you may be aware, the number of small-scale technology certificates (STCs) you are able to claim for solar systems <99kW is set to decrease again by 6.5% on 1 January 2019.
If you didn't already know, STCs are a federal government subsidy that are set to be phased out by 2030.

Each year, the number of certificates you can claim is reduced and subsequently the value of your subsidy is reduced. Eko Energy is advising customers to put a deposit down before 30 September 2018 to ensure your system is installed before the end of 2018 and that you have access to maximum available federal subsidies. From 1 October 2018, quoted prices will reflect the reduction in subsidies.
On top of the federal subsidies available, customers in Victoria may also be eligible for 50% off the cost of their solar system, up to $2,225. Solar Homes have acknowledged more than 9,000 registrations of interest in the subsidy in the first three weeks, and with subsidies only available for the first 25,000 households, we encourage customers to register their interest now.
